Dr. Jodie Lobana, Ph.D., FCPA, FCA Founder & CEO, AIGE Global Advisors
Dr. Jodie Lobana is an internationally recognized expert in AI governance, ethics, and risk management. With over two decades of experience in leadership, governance, and technology oversight, she brings unparalleled depth and foresight to the intersection of innovation and responsibility.
As the Founder and CEO of AIGE Global Advisors, Dr. Lobana has led the firm’s global expansion to support corporate boards, governments, financial institutions, and international agencies in designing governance systems that ensure AI serves humanity—ethically, strategically, and safely. Her work is driven by a core belief: leaders must be empowered to make AI decisions that protect society and elevate long-term value.
Dr. Lobana has delivered keynotes and training sessions in over 40 countries and advised institutions such as:
- The United Nations and multiple UN agencies
- International development banks
- The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), representing 193 member states
- The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada)
- CPA Ontario, CPA Alberta, and the IIA Global Conference
- School board associations and Crown corporations across Canada
She is a former board member of the International Internal Audit Standards Board, chaired the Technology Steering Committee at OECM, and has served on governance and technology advisory committees for CPA Canada, McMaster University, and others.
Academically, Dr. Lobana teaches AI and IT Governance at York University and has lectured at Queen’s, McMaster, Waterloo, and the Indian Institute of Technology. Her teaching is consistently rated at the highest levels for clarity, insight, and real-world application.
Dr. Lobana is the author of the forthcoming book, Holistic Governance of Artificial Intelligence, which introduces a transformational framework for governing AI in the public and private sectors. She is also the founder of Tera Tera Collaborations Inc., a not-for-profit initiative using AI for social good in areas like eldercare, climate resilience, healthcare optimization, and digital inclusion.
